You
can make new boards by getting an extra HeroQuest board and using both
of them to make two-story levels. Or, you can take some cardboard
or other modeling things and make new boards, adding things such as
castle drawbridges or anything. You can make out-door levels too,
and make new traps and other stuff. This will add alot more stuff
to the actual game.
Making New Levels You
can make new levels by copying and pasting images from a file to a
picture of a map. At least, that's what my whole little "group"
does to make levels. It takes a long time, but it's worth
it. The levels turn out really good and professional
looking. Of course, you have to resize some stuff, but I'm sure
you can get through it. The best program to use is just Windows
Paint. Yes, Paint, the program that comes with every computer.
You can get the things to make maps by going to www.Altavista.com and searching for HeroQuest. You'll find some sites that have more information on how to make them.
Also,
you can add new boards to your HeroQuest system. Example: I
have HeroQuest, DragonStrike, and DarkWorld games. You can take
new characters from them, and also use the boards from them, such as the
new castle, and also outdoor levels, to make better backgrounds than
"The Dungeon"
Getting the original board and expansions: You can find all of the expansions and scanned board here All of the expansions and things should be credited to the people who spent all the time scanning and uploading...Thanks! |
